Founded in 1984 by third generation industry veteran Elliot P. Gibber, Deb El Food Products was designed to be the most modern egg drying plant in the world. From 1984 through 1993, the company’s sole business was the manufacturing and marketing of a full line of Dried Egg Products to the commercial food industry. While continuing to grow and diversity, Deb El remains one of the largest and most modern egg drying facilities in the world.

Ten years later, in 1994, Deb El purchased Ballas Food Products, a distributor of frozen, liquid and dried egg products to bakeries and small food manufacturers in the New York Metropolitan area.

Deb El continued to diversify and in 1996 purchased a manufacturer of mayonnaise and powdered drink mixes, which became known as G&L Food Products.

Returning to the company’s core in Egg Products, Deb El later purchased Gibber Egg Company, an egg breaking plant, and merged it into Deb El Food Products. Situated on 165 picturesque acres in Thompsonville, New York, the Deb El breaking plant has since been remodeled and expanded, and is a state-of-the art facility. The Thompsonville Deb El plant manufacturers a full line of liquid and frozen egg products both for the Industrial, Institutional, Foodservice and Retail channels.

Over the past decade Deb El has grown tenfold and is now a major player in the Egg Product business in the United States and Worldwide.  The products manufactured and distributed are of the highest quality and offered at competitive prices. Service is key as the company prides itself on being big enough to be able to provide customers with any quantity no matter how large, while at the same time offering personal and quick service.
