Quality Assurance is the backbone of Deb El’s success.  From Deb El’s highly experienced and qualified Quality Assurance team to every level of Management, Operations, Sales, Transportation and Customer Service, the Deb El culture breeds pride in the quality requirements and high standards that the company was founded upon.  We take great pride in the requirements we’ve placed upon ourselves.

Deb El maintains an in-house, on site USDA, FSIS approved certified laboratory.  Two independent commercial laboratories are also utilized to collaborate test results. .Each and every production lot is tested for chemical, physical and microbiological analysis.  Raw ingredients, in process sampling and the final product, is continually being verified according to specifications.  

Quality Control is everyone’s responsibility within the manufacturing facility and is guided by GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), as defined by the FDA.  Third party auditing of the facility and the entire operation is performed on an annual basis to verify conformance to the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative.  We are certified in the SQF, Level 3 category for safety and quality.  Bio Security requirements are an addition to our continuous improvement culture.  Many of our customers also conduct their own audits of our facility throughout the year to verify their own requirements.
Deb El’s products are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).
